At CBPH, we strive to make the lives of working people equal and just. We firmly believe that all professions must be void of judgment based on color, creed, sex or other immutable characteristics. So whether you’re a state employee, CFO, or a store clerk, we promise to be a champion for you.
As statewide practitioners, we’re proud of the work we’ve accomplished. We’ve won jury verdicts for clients all over the state, we have changed the law for the better on appeal at the South Carolina Supreme Court, South Carolina Court of Appeals, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In 1959, Lewis Cromer started practicing law. His 60+ year career and incredible accomplishments led him to be considered as a forefather of the modern practice of worker-side employment in South Carolina. He is widely known as a successful trial lawyer throughout the nation.
In 2017, Cromer formed a partnership with three of his associates: Jay Babb, Paul Porter, and Ryan Hicks. Since their inception, the firm has doubled in size and earned a reputation for fearlessly defending workers’ rights all over the Palmetto state.
We know you have options – here’s what makes us different from the rest.
We’re not afraid to go to trial.
We’ll fight for you on appeal.
We’re transparent about our cost and fees.
This work is our purpose, we have do it.
Our office is located in downtown Columbia, but our attorneys practice throughout the palmetto state. Lowcountry, Midlands, Upstate, you name it – we’ll be there.
