What is Sexual Harassment?

What is Sexual Assault? 
According to RAINN, Sexual assault refers to sexual contact or behavior, often physical, that occurs without the consent of the victim. While sexual harassment typically violates civil laws, sexual assault typically refers to acts that are criminal. 

Examples of Sexual Assault:

  • Attempted rape or forced penetration of the victim’s body 
  • Forcing victims to perform sexual acts 
  • Unwanted sexual touching
